Ahhh, this interview y'all. There is so much goodness here. This week, I'm talking with Holly Whitaker, founder of Tempest Sobriety School and The Temper, and author of the recent "Quit Like a Woman: The Radical Choice to Not Drink in a Culture Obsessed with Alcohol." Holly also played a huge part in my decision to quit drinking, over three years ago, and I loved getting to have this conversation with her. Even though we recorded pre-coronavirus, everything we talked about is relevant to where we are today. You'll hear us cover pivotal life moments, why sometimes feeling guilty is okay, how to decide what you owe yourself vs what you owe others, non-linear paths of learning, and why you might need to live in a way that allows you to have constant interventions. We also talk about why it's okay not to be okay and how showing up is part of the healing. Show Notes: 31 Days to Flow (open through 4/29!) This week, I'm going behind the scenes of all my values talk to show you what values look like in action in our lives. Right now. During the COVID-19 pandemic. Yep. Even then. You'll also get to hear me tell two different versions of how I could be showing up right now (it's my Sliding Doors moment!): one that involves chasing the values I'm "supposed" to want: success and family. And another that looks like aligning myself with my personal #1 value: integrity. It's a journey! Enjoy, enjoy! Show Notes:

This week, I'm sharing my favorite 9-minute grounding ritual. I've been doing this (imperfectly) since February and I'm finding it incredibly useful to help me stay focused and grounded these days. Enjoy, enjoy and if you benefit from this practice (or your own variation of it!), please let me know! I'd love to hear about your experience with it! Show Notes:

What we're currently exploring is how you can Be Your Own Anchor in times of great uncertainty. Which...yes. That's where we are right now. (But it's also where we've always been, just with different specifics.) This week, I'm talking with my dear friend and teacher, Lacy Young. You'll hear us talk about living with (and in) overwhelm, a very different definition of thriving than what we've been taught it should look like, how to ground yourself when you're in a spin, and what we can learn from wildflowers and melting ice. We also cover: anxiety, self-compassion, identity, caretaking without losing yourself, and finding your own voice and power in the midst of all the chaos.
